The Cardiac Science Powerheart G5 AED is the first defibrillator to combine real-time CPR feedback, user-paced instruction, intuitive pad design, fully-automatic shock delivery, variable escalating energy and fast shock times.
This easy-to-use AED has advanced therapy to help save lives and can be used by responders of all levels. The Powerheart G5 AED has Rescue Ready technology which self-checks all main AED components (battery, hardware, software and pads) daily; making it one of the most reliable AED’s on the market.
It completes a partial charge of the high voltage electronics weekly and a full charge monthly.
RescueCoach gives user-paced prompts guiding responders through each critical step of a rescue. Extra help is provided via on-screen text prompts which can be useful in loud, chaotic environments. The prompts, protocols and CPR feedback can all be easily customised to meet the needs and preferences of the user.
The G5 assesses the casualty’s therapy needs and delivers tailored shocks at a suitable energy level. It provides shock delivery within 10 seconds (typically) post-CPR.
The G5 AED is available in Automatic and Semi-Automatic variants. The Semi-Automatic version requires the user to manually press the shock button, whilst the Automatic version delivers the shock to eradicate user hesitation.
The Powerheart G5 meets military standards in shock, vibration and drop testing. The G5’s settings can be easily updated as the Resuscitation Guidelines change. The data can be easily transferred and reviewed via USB. The G5 comes with an 8-year warranty.
The G5’s medical-grade battery has a 4-year full operational guarantee.
